Michigan Weekend...the beach!

Who would've thought we'd have a beach day the last weekend of September?! We went up to stay at my parents rental cottage in St. Jo. The weather was perfect so the kids got to play in the sand for quite a while and we walked downtown too.

Cakes

So lately I've had a lot of people asking me about the cakes I've been making....so....here are some of the cakes I've made that I haven't posted here before (meaning the ones that weren't for my children lol!) The last one is my most recent, I've just learned how to do fondant and it's LOTS of fun!

Like father, like son...

Last week we had Julie, Jeran and Ben over for a playdate. James and Jeran had a riot together and we had to laugh when went in to see what they were doing and they were "taking a nap"! If there ever were two boys who look like their fathers, it's these 2!

More 1st day of school

1st Day of Preschool

Crazy as it is to believe, James started preschool this morning! He's attending the 1st step preschool through our local public school. They'll work with him on his speech and social delays! He has been so excited, absolutely couldn't wait...until it came time to get out of the van this morning! He really wanted me to come in with him, but once one of his teachers took his hand and told him she had something inside for him he took her hand and went in with her! You could tell he wasn't 100% sure, but at least he went. We'll have to see how he is when I go to pick him up.
